Physical DescriptionMauve jewelry box made from genuine stingray leather and edged with ivory detailing. Box comes with a gold key that locks the box. The interior is cream colored interior with removable insert. A faux leather circular seal of the Philippines is attached to the inside of the top of the box.Historical NoteReceived from President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, during a working visit to the White House in July 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
