Physical DescriptionBrown leather jewelry case with two front clasps in a gold-toned metal that click into two amiet locks. Interior is lined with brown velvet. There are four removable inner jewelry trays also lined in the same velvet that rest on shelves within the primary case. A smaller lockable leather box fits in the back center of the larger case and can also be removed. Within the smaller box there are three removable bracelet mounts.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
