Physical DescriptionCrystal depiction of a marigold flower with light yellow and amber colored petals and darker brown crystals forming the center of the flower. Flower has eight crystal petals and is lined with eight silver-toned metal petals. The silver-toned metal stem which holds the flower winds down into a rounded base. Before reaching the base the stem branches into two other stems which hold smaller brown colored flower heads and two leaves.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
