Physical DescriptionGerman Women's National Soccer Team long-sleeved jersey from the 2008 Summer Olympic team. The jersey is white with red, yellow, and black accents. Screen-printed on the front is the number 6, the Adidas logo, the team logo, and a FIFA world champions 2007 patch. On the reverse is "Bresonik" [Linda Bresonik] and the number 6.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a working visit to the White House by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on June 26, 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to the First Family during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
