Physical DescriptionBrown and black Italian leather purse. Black, duffel-bag-style body with two brown handles and brown leather details that closes with a zipper. There are two large black square pockets on the front with brown flaps that close with a magnetic clasp. Comes with optional carrying strap made from brown woven material.Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of the 2009 G8 Summit in L'Aquila, Italy.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
