Physical DescriptionWhite rag doll inspired by the Raggedy Andy Doll has a cloth plush body and short red yarn hair. The doll is dressed in a white dress with a blue and red floral pattern, a blue star patterned apron, and pants with the same pattern as the apron. Around the doll's shoulders there is a white lace shawl. On the doll's head there is blue ribbon that matches the apron and pants. The legs of the doll are made of red and white striped fabric. The facial features for the doll are painted on in black, red, and white.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to Malia and Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
