Physical DescriptionRussian nesting doll set of fifteen painted dolls. The fourteen largest dolls come apart into two pieces and the smallest is a single piece. Each doll has a painted face with purple, pink, yellow, orange, green, and gold painted clothing and decorations. The lower half of each doll depicts a different whimsical scene in the forest or in a medieval village. The largest depicts a scene with man and a woman upon a horse.
