Physical DescriptionRed, white, and blue golf bag signed on the reverse by the members of the United States Team who competed in the 2009 Presidents Cup. Embroidered on the back pocket is the logo for the Presidents Cup and "President Obama" and the signatures are in black throughout. The Presidents Cup logo is embroidered with "2009" on the top reverse pocket and on the front. Also embroidered on the reverse is the logo of Harding Park, where the Presidents Cup took place in 2009. Both sides of the bag have an embroidered United States flag and the letters "USA".

Included with the bag is a white rain cover that has an embroidered American flag on either side. The golf bag also has four golf club head covers with red faux-leather, embroidery of the Presidents Cup logo, an embroidered American flag, and the number of the golf club it fits. Two individual straps and two connected straps are included to allow various ways of carrying. Three of the straps are embroidered with the letters "USA" which are framed by a yellow embroidered Presidents Cup.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
