Embroidered in orange on the brim of the cap is "Malia Obama.".Historical NoteReceived from the leader of a group of St. Louis students who participated in the 2009 "Champions 4 Sustainable Change Tour." The tour stopped at urban gardening sites around the United States, including a stop at the White House to work in the gardens with First Lady Michelle Obama.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to Malia Obama during the Obama Administration.
