The sixty-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly ran from September 17, 2013 to September 16, 2014 and was presided over by John William Ashe of Antigua and Barbuda. The theme of the sixty-eighth session was "The Post 2015 Development Agenda: Setting the Stage.”
