The North American Leaders' Summit (NALS) is a trilateral summit attended by the President of the United States, the President of Mexico, and the Prime Minister of Canada. For the 2009 NALS, President Felipe Calderón of Mexico invited President Obama and Prime Minister Stephen Harper of Canada to Guadalajara, Mexico in April 2009. The three heads of state discussed the H1N1 outbreak, economic recovery, and border security.
