Let Girls Learn/Joining Forces - Qatar 20152015

First Lady Michelle Obama traveled to Doha, Qatar in conjunction with the Let Girls Learn initiative from November 1 through November 4, 2015. The First Lady delivered remarks at the 2015 World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), where she addressed an audience of education leaders from around the world about global girls’ education and the Let Girls Learn initiative. She also visited the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), an organisation of world-class universities and institutes dedicated to realising human potential, where she was welcomed by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation.

The First Lady then visited American service members stationed at Al Udeid Air Base as part of the Joining Forces initiative.
