William Jennings Bryan

American, 1860-1925
William Jennings Bryan was an American lawyer, orator, and politician. He was a prominent figure in the Democratic Party and unsuccesfully ran three times as the party's nominee for President of the United States. Bryan served as a member of the US House of Representatives from 1891 to 1895 and as Secretary of State from 1913 to 1915 under President Woodrow Wilson.
