President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed President Francois Hollande of France to the White House for an official State Visit on February 11, 2014. President Obama and President Hollande held a bilateral meeting and joint news conference to discuss security cooperation, NATO, economic partnerships, and climate change. President Hollande was also honored with a State Dinner on the South Lawn of the White House. The visit also featured a trip to Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.
