Summit of the Americas Cartagena 20122012

The Summit of the Americas was started in 1994 as a gathering of heads of state and government leaders in North and South America to discuss policy issues and collaborate on shared actions to address challenges faced in the Americas.

The 6th Summit of the Americas was held in Cartagena, Colombia on April 14 and April 15, 2012. The theme of the summit was "Connecting the Americas: Partners for Prosperity."
