United Nations General Assembly Visit 20102010
The sixty-fifth session of the United Nations General Assembly ran from September 14, 2010 to September 12, 2011 and was presided over by Joseph Deiss of Switzerland. The theme of the sixty-fifth session was "Reaffirming the central role of the United Nations in global governance.”
President Barack Obama attended the assembly from September 22 to September 24, 2010. President Obama presented a speech to the General Assembly on September 23, 2010 in which he discussed the challenges facing America, the world, and particularly Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
