US-Nordic Leaders Summit 20162016

President Barack Obama invited the leaders of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden to the White House on May 13, 2016. The heads of state discussed reinforcing security alliances, environmental and economic partnerships, and counter-terrorism collaboration. The First Lady was joined by the spouses of the Nordic leaders for a tour of the Renwick Gallery and a performance by the Savoy Elementary School’s Turnaround Arts Program. The heads of state were also honored with a State Dinner on the South Lawn of the White House.
